How long do GTX resistors last?
Average battery life is 15-20 days with normal use, but it depends on your vaping frequency, the type of e-liquid (sweet e-liquids will shorten battery life), and the wattage you use. Replace your coil when you notice a burnt taste, reduced vapor production, or leaks.

Which GTX coil should I choose for my vaping style?
For tight MTL (cigarette-like): 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω. For RDL (narrow lung draw): 0.3Ω, 0.4Ω, or 0.6Ω. For DTL (direct lung draw): 0.15Ω or 0.2Ω. Dual Mesh versions offer more intense flavor and denser clouds.

What is the difference between Mesh and Dual Mesh?
Dual Mesh coils use a double metal mesh that heats the liquid even more evenly and quickly, producing a more intense flavor and denser clouds than standard mesh coils. Both have the same nominal resistance but slightly different performance.

How do you prepare a new GTX coil before use?
Prime: Apply 3-4 drops of e-liquid directly to the exposed cotton of the coil, insert it into the pod/tank, fill with e-liquid, wait 5-10 minutes to allow the cotton to fully saturate, start with low wattage for the first 10-15 puffs and gradually increase.

Can I use high VG e-liquids with GTX coils?
Yes, GTX coils handle high VG e-liquids (70/30 or 80/20) perfectly thanks to the wide wicking openings of the mesh cotton. For MTL coils (0.8Ω and 1.2Ω), we recommend 50/50 or 60/40 e-liquids to avoid dry hits.

How do I know when it's time to change the coil?
Replace your coil when you notice: burnt or altered flavor, reduced vapor production, liquid leaking from the pod, abnormal gurgling while vaping, or if the coil is more than 3-4 weeks old but still works.

What is the optimal wattage for each GTX coil?
Each coil has a recommended range printed on the body: 0.15Ω (70W), 0.2Ω (55W), 0.3Ω (40W), 0.4Ω (30W), 0.6Ω (28W), 0.8Ω (18W), 1.2Ω (11W). Vaporesso devices with the AXON chip will automatically adjust to the optimal wattage when you insert a new coil.
